Boys Lacrosse Community,

It is my pleasure to announce Chase Winter as the next Head Boys Lacrosse Coach at Chattahoochee High School. Throughout our search process, Coach Winter distinguished himself as a leader with outstanding character, a proven track record of success, and a clear vision for building a competitive and sustainable program. His experience as a head coach, collegiate coach, educator, and mentor has prepared him to lead our student-athletes at a high level while representing the values of Chattahoochee High School. We are excited about the future of our boys lacrosse program under Coach Winter's leadership and look forward to welcoming him to our community.

Chase Winter brings a lifelong passion for lacrosse, collegiate coaching experience, and four years as the head varsity boys lacrosse coach at Pace Academy in Atlanta to Chattahoochee High School.

A 2013 graduate of Johns Hopkins University, Winter was a high school All-American at Mountain Lakes High School in New Jersey, where he won two state lacrosse championships in 2007 and 2008 and a state football championship in 2008. He went on to play collegiate lacrosse at Johns Hopkins and later coached at Drew University, Muhlenberg College, and Washington College before returning to the Atlanta area to lead the Pace Academy program from 2021 to 2025.

Winter was named DiVarsity Lacrosse Coach of the Year in 2023 and 2025. His experience also includes youth lacrosse development, physical education, and coaching multiple sports. For Winter, coaching is about much more than what happens on game day. He believes in getting to know each player as a person, building trust, and creating a team culture where effort, respect, communication, and accountability matter every day.

He believes players must bring their own effort and hustle, but a coach's job is to give them the guidance and support to reach their potential. His goal is for every player to grow as an athlete, teammate, student, young man and to finish his high school career proud of the work he put in, regardless of the scoreboard.

A message from Coach Winter:

"I'm excited to join the Chattahoochee lacrosse family and help build something special. I want our players to compete, support one another, and grow as young men. Most importantly, I want them to look back on their time here knowing they gave it everything they had, on and off the field."
