Hello Cheer Mini-Campers!
We are excited that you will be joining us next week for Chattahoochee Cheer Mini-Camp 2019!
Please read over the following information to help ensure a fabulous camp experience:
Camp is Monday June 24th through Friday, June 28th, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
On Friday, June 28th parents please arrive by 12:00 to watch your camper's performance!
*Early drop off is at 8:00 am at the entrance near the gym. If you find you require early drop off, but have not preregistered, it is still available for $5/day.
All morning drop offs are in the front circle of the school by 8:50 am. Please look for signs. Do Not use the side entrance of the school by the parking lot for morning drop off.
There will be high school cheerleaders (look for the cheer signs) and parent volunteers to escort all campers to the cafeteria.
*ON DAY 1 MONDAY, JUNE 24th:
A volunteer will be checking in each camper in the car pool line. Please make sure to bring the camp payment if you haven't paid.
During pick up each day, you must park and come in to sign-out your cheer camper. Please arrive by 1:00.
Please follow signs to the cafeteria. Please wait on the far side of the cafeteria until camp is finished.
SNACKS: A light snack will be provided each day. The snacks will be peanut free, but if your camper has other food allergies, please send in a snack for your child.
WHAT TO BRING:
*money for camp store if interested in buying something
- Label all items with your camper's full name.
We will have a theme each day. Your camper is encouraged to participate by dressing up!
WHAT TO WEAR:
Every day: Gym shoes and hair in a ponytail
Monday: Neon and Tie Dye Day
Tuesday: Crazy Hair and Crazy Sock Day
Wednesday: Favorite Character or Super Hero Day
Thursday: Patriotic Day
Friday: Performance Wear - On Friday parents will come back at 12:00 pm to watch your camper's performance and see what all of the campers learned during the week. You won't want to miss it! Each group will be instructed by the group leader on what to wear on this day.
*Performance ready makeovers will be available before the performance. See the flyer at the bottom of this email!
After the performance on Friday, campers will receive a camp t-shirt and the crafts completed during the week.
Each day we will have snacks and other items for sale. You may come in to purchase items before or after camp with your child.
Campers may also bring money in a Ziploc bag with your child's name clearly written on it. Please have them turn it in to the group leader to hold.
Items will be between 25 cents to a couple of dollars.
There will be a limited number of CHS cheer apparel on sale as well. We will also have cheer bows for sale at the Friday performance. A portion of the bow sales will be donated to the CHS cheer program.
